Amazon Energy Exploration and Production Company Limited (AEEP) is the Upstream arm of Amazon Energy Ltd.
Over the years, it has become apparent that the group can leverage its extensive capabilities in its service to the upstream industry for the development of Marginal and Near Marginal Fields in the West Africa sub-region.
As such, the company is currently engaged in negotiations for nn-operating interests in several assets with the intent to secure Development and Production services opportunities for its Services Group.
The primary focus of current development efforts are assets located within the Niger Delta Region, leveraging on the company’s core business strategy. The company intends to sufficiently develop capacity and operating experience necessary for sourcing and developing assets within the Gulf of Guinea.
Essentially, the company was set up to achieve the following:
- Develop farm-in opportunities with new or operating assets
- Develop farm-in opportunities with operators of fallow or dormant assets
- Participate in Government licensing rounds
- Develop, manage and deliver integrated oil, gas and power projects
- Explore opportunities for and oversee Asset Management Contracts with operating companies
