incorporated in 1999 as Amazon Energy Limited, to
provide engineering services to operators in the
Nigerian oil and gas industry. Over time, the company
has evolved and is now positioned to render integrated
energy services covering engineering, procurement,
operations and maintenance and asset integrity services
Amazon Energy’s operating philosophy represents a
departure from the norm in all communities where it
operates. The company consciously builds trust and
goodwill, through proactive engagement with its host
communities, responsible corporate practices, community
engagement actions etc
Over the last one year, Amazon Energy Group Limited has
made in-roads into upstream oil and gas, with the
setting up its vehicle- Amazon Exploration and
Production Company Limited. The company aims at growing
a portfolio of viable operating assets through targeted
investments into oil and gas fields initially in the
Niger-Delta and ultimately in Ghana, Cameroon, Gabon and
Angola
Rising from a tumultuous beginning with very humble
aspirations, Amazon Energy has rapidly evolved into one
