Kwale Flare Down Project

Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC)

Challenge

About 20 MMSCFD of associated gas (10 MMSCFD atmospheric and 10 MMSCFD low-pressure) was being flared at the Kwale gas plant.

Solution

We upgraded the plant and designed and built four compressors, two atmospheric and two low-pressure, to route the recovered gas to the MP gas header and on through the existing pipeline to the Ob/Ob gas plant.

Result

Gas that was burned off is now delivered as fuel gas, cutting flaring and emissions.

Akri Flowstation Gas Recovery Project

Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC)

Challenge

About 33 MMSCFD of associated gas was being flared at the Akri Flowstation.

Solution

We recovered the flared gas for delivery to the Kwale Gas Plant through a 24-inch gas pipeline of about 18 km into the existing Kwale to Ob/Ob pipeline, including a 3 km river crossing.

Result

Commissioned in March 2019.

NLNG Train 7 FEED Project

Nigeria LNG Limited

Challenge

NLNG set out to expand its six-train facility with a seventh liquefaction train, a new common liquefaction unit for excess treated gas from the existing trains, a new export jetty and all brownfield interconnections.

Solution

We carried out front-end engineering design as part of the SAIPEM, Dover and Amazon Energy consortium, 2018 to 2019.

Result

FEED delivered for one of the largest gas projects in Nigeria.

River Niger Gas Pipeline Crossing

Challenge

Gas had to be delivered across the River Niger on a demanding schedule.

Solution

We engineered and built an 18.5 km, 24-inch pipeline, including the river crossing, with a single team managing design, procurement and construction.

Addax Petroleum Development

Challenge

Addax planned to drill and produce seven additional wells and needed the facilities to bring them on stream.

Solution

Detailed engineering of 12-inch by 18 km production and 6-inch by 18 km gas lift pipelines, the pipeline end facilities and the process facilities, with tie-ins to the existing Izombe flow station.

Result

A phased development ready to increase production and processing capacity.
